Images are kept for at least 1 year from the last time they were accessed. As long as someone views your image at least once a year, it stays online indefinitely.
Is there a file size limit?
The maximum upload size is 50 MB per image.
Can I paste screenshots directly?

Are image links permanent?
Yes, as long as the image is accessed at least once per year. Direct links like os.md/Ab3k.png never redirect. The image loads directly.
