Shorten a URL: Paste your long URL and click "Shorten URL." You'll get a compact link like os.md/abc that you can copy and share anywhere. Click "Custom short URL" to choose your own slug — for example, os.md/my-link.
Host an image: Click "Image hosting" to browse, drag and drop, or press Ctrl+V to paste from Snipping Tool or a screenshot. Your image gets a direct link like os.md/Ab3k.png. No redirect, the image loads directly. Images are kept for at least 1 year from the last time they were accessed.
Manage your links: Create a free account with Google or email to access all your links from any device. Edit destinations, change slugs, delete links, and see click counts from your personal dashboard.
Browser extension: Install our free extension for Chrome, Edge, and Brave to shorten URLs, upload images, and generate QR codes with one click, right from your browser toolbar.
Generate a QR code: Click "QR Code Generator" and choose from 4 types: URL, WiFi (share network credentials), Phone (click-to-call), and Email. Pick from 6 dot styles, set custom colors for dots and background, add your own logo, and download as PNG or SVG.
Set link expiration: Edit any link and set an expiry date. Once the date passes, visitors see a "Link Expired" page instead of being redirected.
Password protect a link: Edit any link and set an access password. Visitors must enter the password before being redirected to the destination.
